Training

Building the capacities of an institution would aim at fostering a well-planned, competitive, efficient set of arrangements and functionaries within itself to achieve its goals and develop its credibility. In the present context of development oriented initiatives it would be appropriate to say that developmental interventions may have adverse social and environmental impacts that would have to be mitigated considering the risks of impoverishment and displacement and pollution to natural resources. Hence  strengthening the capacities of the project implementing agencies in various sectors and their functionaries in addressing social and environmental issues that arise out of development is of high priority and importance. Developing capacities and training should be formulated in such a way that compliance and competence among the staff can be achieved in addressing the social concerns. 

CMSR with its expertise and professional resource personnel has conducted training programmes for the officials of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL), Andhra Pradesh State Highways Project (APSHP), Roads and Buildings Department of Andhra Pradesh (R&B), Department of Irrigation, Andhra Pradesh, Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (AP Transco) and Uttar Pradesh Public Works department (UPPWD).
